TikTok Shop highlights MSME growth at GoNegosyo’s digital summit – Yurika.R

TikTok Shop Philippines joined GoNegosyo’s Online Selling Summit to support the growth of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) through digital platforms. The event brought together government officials, industry experts, and entrepreneurs to explore how digital tools can help MSMEs thrive in today’s competitive economy.

“Digital technology is key for our MSMEs to succeed in today’s evolving business landscape,” said Joey Concepcion, founder of GoNegosyo. 

TikTok Shop aims to provide MSMEs with tools such as livestream selling and affiliate marketing, helping businesses reach a wider audience. Its ACE Framework — assortment, content, and empowerment — focuses on optimizing product offerings, creating engaging content, and converting interactions into sales.

“Our platform integrates content with commerce, allowing small businesses to engage customers in a more compelling way,” said Franco Aligaen, lead of Marketing at TikTok Shop Philippines. “By turning content into sales, TikTok Shop aims to support local enterprises and boost their growth.”

To strengthen MSMEs further, TikTok Shop collaborates with partners like the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) and GoNegosyo, offering training and resources to help Filipino entrepreneurs succeed in the digital space.

“Our goal is to create a supportive ecosystem where MSMEs can grow and prosper,” Aligaen said. “Through these partnerships, TikTok Shop seeks to empower small businesses and drive economic progress in the Philippines.”
